Sale of Local Radio Station.

Sale of WBT, Charlotte's rather renowned radio station, to the Columbia Broadcasting System after it has since its youthhood been identified with the National Broadcasting System and has, therefore, gotten its listeners in this part of the Country familiar with the programs of the latter, will naturally stir up considerable speculation until definite announcement comes from the new owners as to the future plans for the station.

The Columbia system's list of attractions and features of entertainment is, of course, varied and alluring, but, nevertheless a feeling of regret will be general in this section if the local station is to be totally detached from those outstanding hours of the National Broadcasting System has been furnishing.
