WBT WILL STAY ON AIR FOR 17 HOURS DAILY

Plans for keeping Radio Station WBT on the air from 7 a. m. until 12 p. m. each day through contract with the Columbia chain were announced yesterday by Earle J. Gluck, general manager of the Charlotte station.

It was pointed out that programs already coming in over wide hookups and the National Broadcasting chain will be discontinued at the expiration of the individual contracts and will be replaced by the programs of the Columbia chain.
