Southeastern Rebuilt Radio Station Plant

Uninterrupted Broadcasting While Job Was In Progress—Finished In a Given Time.

The Southeastern Construction company, of Charlotte, was awarded the contract for the rebuilding of the powerful transmitting plant of WBT. Earle Whitton, president of this company, stated that two shifts of workers were employed daily to rush the work to completion within the time given. The officials of WBT were highly satisfied with the manner in which the Southeastern handled the Job so as to enable the station to continue to give uninterrupted radio broadcasts.

The transmitting plant of WBT is located on the Nation's Ford road but the highway commission has officially agreed to change the name to WBT highway.

The Southeastern Construction company has recently been awarded a big radio job in Alexandria, Va.
