The First Full-time Staff

In an elaborate booklet sent to potential advertisers, dated July 4, 1963, the five full-time JP employees were introduced, all former WBTV staffers. At this point JP used the station's studio, crew and equipment. Frank Bateman, listed as JP's Technical Operations Manager, was actually WBTV's TOM, for JP then had very few technical assets.
