Princess On Air Gives Life Story

A new program feature of WBT, Charlotte, presented Wednesday evenings at 8:30 o'clock, EST, will be the interpretation of Indian folklore and songs by Princess Nacoomee, Osage for "Handful of Flowers."

The daughter of Tahan, famous Osage chief, and granddaughter of California Joe, celebrated Custer scout, she combines all rugged romance of the aborigines with the polish and culture of the effete East. From the tepees of her fathers, she came up through the finishing schools of New England and was a student at the New England Conservatory of Music at Boston.

Her violin, which she uses in all her recitals, is her most treasured possession. The product of Gagliano, a student of Stradivarius, the instrument is nearly 200 years old and, so far as its owner is concerned, it is above price.
