PAGELAND — Mr. Earl Wayne Haas, 73, of Pageland, went to be with his Lord on Monday, May 26, 2014, while surrounded by his loving family and Hospice of Chesterfield County. Mr. Earl Wayne Haas was born in Caldwell County, North Carolina, to the late Earl and Louise Mabe Haas. He later married Katherine, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Haas was the owner of WRML Radio Station and sang on the Arthur Smith Show and the Tommy Faile Show for many years. He also sang with Middle Cross Group. He was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and his Mazda Miata.

Mr. Haas is survived by his son, Joel Haas (Christie) of Charlotte, N.C.; daughters, Lori Carroll (Wade), of Denver, Colo., Colette Bromfield (Rafe), of Monroe, N.C., and Denise Robinson (Mike), of Kershaw; brother, Richard Haas of Morganton, N.C.; and grandchildren, Erin Carroll, Jena Carroll, Nathan Haas, Bridger Haas, Elizabeth Haas, Jordan Bromfield, Jackson Robinson, and Lindsey Robinson.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. The interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The Haas family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church, PO Box 309, Pageland, SC 29728 or Hospice of Chesterfield County, PO Box 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
