Jimmy Gregg Pell, 65, of 588 Laurel Winds Dr., Jefferson, died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Gregg was a native of Randolph County and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ramseur. He worked as a television news photographer. Gregg loved his "hometown" of Ramseur, and the people of the community. He kept memories of Ramseur alive on a Facebook page, and loved to share stories and photographs of the little town that meant so much to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Gregg and Agnes Branson Pell, sister, Gwyn Pell Bottoms.
